- PCNow works on Mac, Windows and Linux. Great service if you regularly need to remotely access another computer or
have to share your desktop for a meeting. LogMeIn has a free subscription level that does not include file transfer functionality.
- CoPilot if you need to access a computer remotely every once in a while.
- Google's GoogleApps. It's Free and can be used to collaborate with people who own Macs, Windows, or Linux computers. For tasks, issues, and action items, create a spreadsheet and share it. Create your newsletter content using Docs.
- NetSuite, ActionThis, AutoTaskGo, Virtual Assistant Manager. These are contact relationship managers (CRM). We recommend several CRMs as one size does not fit all.
- Zoho, and 37Signal's products are hybrid CRM and organizers online.
- FreeConferenceCall for teleconferences. The free account includes a feature to record your conference call.
- Yugma (Mac, Windows) for online meetings with multiple participants. It includes a telephone conference line and the ability to share your desktop.
- Instant messengers like Yahoo, Skype, AOL, and Windows Live allow you to transfer files and have quick conversations.
